Current Status

The version 1 specification will be issued as a NIST Special Publication. The version 2 effort will start in 2016 and will focus on other changes TBD. The State of Ohio is using a slightly older version of the version 1 schema for reporting its election results; see the example file below from OH for its Nov 3, 2015 election results.
