Name

Preferred Definition
(The definition that we shall use, regardless of whether we, in a particular jurisdiction, use the term differently.)- Scope within which reported totals or counts are calculated (e.g., precinct or election district).
Discussion
(Optional. Use this to clarify the essential context of the definition, if necessary.)- Reporting contexts may overlap in complex ways; for example, in the case of split precincts, there is not a simple containment relationship between election districts and precincts.
